Of Self Deception is the third story in Jellyfist. It starts with what looks to be a blue man with big red lips, and some sort of inner toaster in his head. He's wearing just underwear and black boots. He starts stating that each time he feels sad, he makes toast as something to make the sadness bearable. He toasts a couple of slices of bread and eats them while he is crying; he then says that he was kidding, and then he keeps eating while looking somewhat sad.
